For this party the theme was too much fun.....Tuts & Ties!!!
This party was a birthday party for Miss Mary Katherine who was turning 2 of course. So where do I start? With a tutu invitation of course.
This birthday party was all about Tutus and Ties. The girls were provide their own homemade hot pink and orange tutu, while the boys were given orange and white polka dot neck ties.
The girls tables featured a pink damask runner and were adorned with pink and orange tutu centerpieces. Orange and white polka dot napkins with pink "2" wraps atop white plates added a playful yet sophisticated elements to the table. For a little more added fun "tulle poofs" (as we like to call them) were tied to the milk bottles that would later be filled with pink lemonade,
For the boys it was all about the polka dot neck ties. The table overlays were the polka dot fabric used to make the ties. For the milk bottles, orange ribbon with white dots were used to tie the perfect tie around the neck.
The cupcakes and favors for this party were no surprise....tutus and ties ! These sweet treats found the perfect home on top of a shabby chic dresser. Centered with a tower of Tutu and Tie cupcakes, the dresser was balanced with a precious and delicious Tutu 2 cake on one side and "2" water bottles on the other. The cookie favors found a cozy spot tucked inside the dresser drawers.
